Farm Bureau Youth Leadership Week

The four-day conference, open to rising high school juniors and seniors, provides workshops on leadership training, team building, and agricultural and environmental issues.

Southeastern Equestrian Trails Conference (SETC)

Charleston, SC

SETC brings together equestrians, resource conservation managers, and others to discuss the issues critical to preserving recreational use of horses on public lands. It is one of the premier trail education conferences for equestrians in the United States.

SCFB Women’s Conference

South Carolina State Fair

Columbia, SC

The SC State Fair will be held in Columbia beginning Wednesday, October 8, and concluding on Sunday, October 19. The annual event will feature livestock judging, agricultural and commercial exhibits, entertainment, rides, and a variety of food vendors.

South Carolina Farm Bureau Federation will again be donating a total of $10,500 in scholarships to six youth livestock competition winners at the 2008 State Fair. For more information on scholarships, visit
