Conference Highlights:
Comedian Jay Hendren - From the Field to
the Stage! Ohio farmer Jay Hendren started performing stand-up
comedy in 1996. He drew from experiences working on the family
farm. Just two years later his agriculture based comedy helped
him win the title "Funniest Person in Columbus." Jay's humor is
good clean fun. He can't sing or dance but he is guaranteed to
make you laugh? Jay will be performing during the Friday evening
opening session.
Back by Popular Demand: Dr. Ron Hanson -
Dr. Ron Hansen will return to the annual conference again this
year with his presentation of You Can Buy the Family Farm But
Just Remember That I Still Own It. This program addresses
business ownership succession issues for farm families and will
give you helpful ideas of how to develop an agreement to allow
for a successful transition of your family farm ownership to the
next generation.
Saturday Evening Banquet at Ripley's Aquarium
(Sponsored by New Holland) As the grand finale of our conference
we invite you to a private banquet at Ripleys Aquarium. The
aquarium is a $40 million, state-of-the-art, 87,000 square-foot
aquarium experience, located at Broadway at the Beach. It is
South Carolina's most visited attraction, where guests are
entertained by some of the world's most beautiful, fascinating
and dangerous aquatic life. Your registration fee covers the
banquet and admission to the aquarium.
