   Drought raises need for alternative feeds
 
                                                                                     

The recent growing season has been tremendously difficult for numerous farmers in parts of South Carolina. Many livestock producers have found it difficult to maintain feed supplies. Hay is in short supply and grass is almost non-existent on some farms.
