Young Farmer & Rancher Program


The Young Farmer & Rancher Program provides members with an opportunity to hone their skills to prepare them for leadership roles with Farm Bureau as well as within other organizations in their county and on the state and national levels.

SC Farm Bureau sponsors an annual Young Farmer & Rancher Leadership Conference to give members from across the state an opportunity to gain insight into all facets of production agriculture.

The Young Farmer & Rancher Program also sponsors annual Discussion Meet, Achievement Award, and Excellence in Agriculture Award contests for members between the ages of 18 and 35 to meet and compare skills with people of similar interests. Contest prizes include a new Dodge truck!
