Excellence in Ag Award

The Farm Bureau Excellence in Agriculture Award Program is designed as an opportunity for Young Farmers & Ranchers, while actively contributing and growing through their involvement in Farm Bureau and agriculture, to earn recognition.  Participants will be judged on their involvement in agriculture, leadership ability, involvement and participation in Farm Bureau and other organizations (i.e., civic, service and community). Contestants must be Farm Bureau members between the ages of 18 and 35 who do not earn the majority of their income from an owned agricultural operation.

The top three state winners will be selected from the written applications as our state finalists. The finalists will then be required to present an oral presentation at the SCFB State Office during the month of October.  The application and presentation scores of the three finalists will be combined and the highest total score will determine the state winner.

For more information or to enter, please download the entry form here: 2013 SCFB EA App.docThe deadline to enter is August 1, 2013.
