But as South Carolina peach farmer Chalmers Carr explained in a recent Newsline, without foreign workers to pick the crop, they’ll never make it to your grocery store. Now is the time for immigration reform and improvements to agriculture labor programs. The Senate immigration reform bill would improve the current system, the H2-A program.
