In this episode of Farm Bureau's Voices of Agriculture, host Reggie Hall discusses animal care, welfare and bio-security on the farm as we meet some of South Carolina's outstanding cattlemen, poultry farmers and hog producers. We travel to the barrier islands of South Carolina to introduce Helen Legare Floyd as our Farmer Outstanding in the Field. There she shows us her coastal farm while talking about the importance of involvement in an organization such as Farm Bureau. While we are in the Charleston area, we stop by one of the state's famous restaurants where Chef Marc Collins from Circa 1886 whips us up some Carolina Gold Rice grits to go along with one of their delicious dishes. All this is in our Carolina Cooking segment. Our Palmetto Portrait closes this episode with some scenes of animals on the farm. For more information, click on the links below.
