Sprouts' Monthly Book selection is a literacy outreach program for anyone looking for an accurate agriculture related resource to use in a classroom. Every month, a new book will be available for purchase with accompanying activities and ready to use slides that are aligned with SC State Standards. Target age groups will vary; however, many of the activities can be adapted for age appropriateness.
Books are available for $8 each, while supplies last. Purchase a subscription for $72 and automatically receive a new book each month, except for June and July when Sprouts is on vacation. Subscriptions start with the month of purchase. Please send your questions to Mallory Hall

Forestry Forever
Forestry Forever: Growing Trees for Future Generations is a true story about Jim and Pam Porter's purchase of a highly productive Coastal SC Tree Farm. The book describes their management journey, a showcase of forestry practices that led to them being named SC Tree Farmers of the Year in 2022. Their stewardship and management of timberland make it an ideal demonstration forest to educate others on the lifecycle process of growing Southern Yellow Pine and other important benefits of the forest which impact us all.
