The South Carolina Farm Bureau Youth Ambassador Scholarship Program, which is sponsored by the SC Farm Bureau Women’s Leadership Committee, aims to surface young leaders passionate about agriculture and cultivate their ability to engage in the food and farming conversation with a wide variety of audiences. The program also showcases the opportunities for careers in agriculture and its related industries. 

The SCFB Youth Ambassadors will receive a college scholarship in the amount of $2,000.00 and specialized advocacy training preparing them to be influential and effective young leaders. Ambassadors will make selected appearances (at SCFB’s expense) on behalf of agriculture and Farm Bureau, coordinated by the SCFB Promotion and Education Division.

2018 Essay Topic: You have chosen to run for the position of Advocate for South Carolina agriculture. What is your platform, and why? 

The Ambassador interviews and final presentations will be held Wednesday, August 8 at the Phillips Market Center at the State Farmers Market.
