As agriculture becomes more diverse than ever before, the SCFB Young Farmers & Ranchers Committee aims to offer you a conference that brings together young farmers and ag enthusiasts from across South Carolina, encourages them to join together as a unified voice and provides sessions that will meet diverse educational interests. Featuring educational, networking, and leadership development opportunities, this event offers something for everyone.
Registration Information
We are excited to welcome you to Greenville this coming February to the 2023 YF&R Conference. You will have the opportunity to learn, network, and have fun all at the same time. We have a wide variety of sessions and topics chosen to meet your needs and the issues that young farmers face. Learn how to address local government, understand more about consumer biases and agricultural myths, and find out ways to invite everyone to the table.
- Early-Bird registration deadline is December 16th.

Silent Auction Benefiting the AG-tion! Fund
Donate or bid on items to support the SCFB Education in AG-tion! Fund Silent Auction on February 3 and 4, 2023 at the YF&R Conference. Money from this fund is used to fund educational projects used by counties to educate children and consumers about the importance of agriculture, such as the Learn-to-Farm Classroom Mini-Grant Program and agricultural education materials for counties.
To donate an item, bring it to registration at the SC Farm Bureau YF&R conference. Examples of items include: toy tractors, collectible knives, gift baskets filled with S.C. commodities, farm-related and other prints, jewelry, shot guns, Clemson or USC items, vacation getaways, etc.
Silent Auction bidding will be done electronically on your mobile device. Items will be on display in person in the Silent Auction room and online through QTEGO. We will provide instructions and links to connect to our event at a later date.
Submit your photos for the 2023 Photo Contest now!
Young Farmers and Ranchers have the chance to showcase their creative side in the annual photo contest held at the SCFB YF&R Conference. Winners are selected in five categories: People on the Farm, Farm Scenes, Farm Animals, Conference Theme and People’s Choice. To be eligible to enter, you must be a member of South Carolina Farm Bureau and in attendance at the SCFB YF&R Conference. Entries must be taken between 2020 and 2023.
NEW THIS YEAR – An additional category has been added for the 2023 competition. Participants may submit a photo that correlates with the 2023 YF&R Conference theme: Engage. Advocate. Teach. (EAT): Inviting Everyone to the Table.

At this year’s conference, individuals and businesses with ag-related products can set up shop during the Friday Night networking event! Attendees will be able to shop hand-made, home grown, and lovingly crafted goods from South Carolina Farm Bureau members.
