Dominion Energy announced new incentives to produce long-term, cost-effective electric savings for agribusinesses by offering incentives structured to cover a portion of the cost of installing energy efficiency measures. The program offers incentives for site-specific, cost-effective technologies. Projects must demonstrate specific and verifiable energy savings and costs. Typical custom measures include:
• Heating pads (swine)
• Milk pre-coolers (dairy)
• Animal agricultural: LED lighting
• Horticultural lighting: LED replacement
• Grain bin VFDs
• Well pump tune-ups
• Well pump VFDs

EnergyWise for Your Business incentives are limited, offered on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to project and customer eligibility and funds availability. For each program year (Dec. 1 – Nov. 30), EnergyWise for Your Business incentive payments are capped per customer federal tax ID number at $100,000 per project type.
