Dr. Aaron Turner

Dr. Aaron Turner is an assistant professor in the Department of Agricultural Sciences at Clemson University. Prior to this position, he was an engineer associate in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering at the University of Kentucky, where he completed his graduate work. Dr. Turner teaches courses related to the fundamentals of grain drying and storage, agricultural calculations, capstone design, and food process engineering.

Michele Payn, CSP, connects the people and science of food and farming as principal of Cause Matters Corp. She is known for being a community catalyst, a passionate advocate for global agriculture - and antagonizing people into action. Michele has worked with farmers in more than 25 countries, raised over $5 million in sponsorships for agriculture education and founded AgChat and FoodChat on Twitter.

Megan Floyd

Megan and her husband Richard, along with their eight-year-old daughter Lyla, have produced tobacco, corn, soybeans, cotton and wheat over the past 13 years. Currently, they also have a cornmeal and grits business where they grow, grind and package their own cornmeal and grits. Megan has a deep love for sustaining the future of agriculture and, particularly, women in agriculture. Being part of the Women's Leadership Committee provides her an outlet to pursue her passion!

Tracy Miskelly

SC Ag in the Classroom Director Tracy Miskelly first became involved with Farm Bureau as a volunteer, serving on the state Young Farmer & Rancher Committee as well as the York County Farm Bureau Board. A Winthrop alum, Tracy is certified in Early Childhood Education and has taught multiple grades ranging from Kindergarten to Third. Tracy also spent time as a school based literacy coach, assisting teachers with instructional reading strategies. She lives in York with her husband, Jesse, daughter Emily and son Hayes.
